PRIVACY NOTICE AND GDPR COMPLIANCE
H2 Partners Limited is a marketing services agency, providing market research, marketing and management consultancy to a broad range of clients in various commercial sectors around the world. In any of your dealings with us, for example, as a client, a supplier, or as a participant in any of our projects and programmes, and including the action of you visiting this website, we promise that we will never aim to use your personal information in a way that would be non-compliant with GDPR rules and regulations.
The policy below outlines instances where we may collect personal identity data, how and why we would use it, when we may communicate this to other bodies, and how we keep it confidential. Personal identity data means any information that could be connected to a person by their phone number, written or digital address details (including IP addresses that could identify an individual), identifying marks, or their voice and/or visual appearance. We may collect such material when you telephone us, write to us, e-mail us, send in a contact form, or work with us in any matter, be it as a client, supplier, or participant in a project, but where that occurs, we will use that material only in a way that is compliant.
Every individual has new rights under GDPR, although these may not apply in all cases. In the main, you have the right:
- to be informed about and to object to our processing of your personal identity data;
- to request access to your personal identity data and ask us how we process it;
- to reasonably restrict our processing of your personal information;
- to be forgotten by us (that is, have all your personal identity data deleted);
- to have your personal identity data corrected if that of which we are in receipt is inaccurate or incomplete;
- to data portability (that is, to request us to move your personal identity data in cases where we hold it);
- to question any automated use or movement of your personal identity data by us;
- to complain to the Information Commissioner who enforces GDPR.
In the instances where we are in receipt of personal identity data, we guarantee the following:
1. That we will only ever use it in a manner compliant with GDPR 2018 regulations and requirements.
2. That all professional agencies and individuals with whom we interact as part of our business where your personal identity data may be passed on will have testified to us as to their compliance with GDPR 2018 regulations and requirements and that, to the best of our knowledge, they will keep your personal identity data confidential and will not use it for any purpose other than the business of market research, marketing and management consultancy services. However, these agencies and individuals are not directly covered by this privacy policy and for more information you should consult those agencies’ and individuals’ own policies directly.
3. That we will use any of your personal identity data, such that we have communicated to us, only as part of our primary services to our clients or to respond to specific requests from you to provide information, unless you assert and maintain an informed choice that you wish us to use your personal identity data in an agreed alternative way. We acknowledge the principle enshrined in the GDPR regulations that you have the right to be wholly forgotten at any time.
4. That we will keep your personal identity data only if, and for as long as, it is reasonable and necessary for us to undertake our normal business and/or maintain financial accounts, after which point we will securely delete it. If you ask us, we will delete it whenever you want us to, providing this does not necessitate us breaking any separate civil legislation. It is our aim to keep the absolute minimum personal identity data as is possible to do our work and stay legal and compliant with relevant laws and regulations including keeping necessary financial accounts. Wherever possible, data that we keep will be anonymised or pseudonymised whilst in our keep.
5. That in the event that we share your personal identity data with third parties (such as showing a video film that includes your image and voice as a market research participant) we will only do so when necessary to enable us to deliver effective market research, marketing or management services and/or to respond to your own direct questions or requests, and only with your consent as part of an informed choice that can be revoked at any time.
6. That we use robust and complaint standard digital security, and compliant physical security where physical material such as written material is involved, to ensure that your personal identity data is protected from non-compliant and hostile entities and that we are compliant with GDPR requirements.
7. That our work does not involve any systematic use of cookies or the harvesting of any personal identity data about visitors to our sites. However, we advise you that cookies can be refused through your own digital preferences.
8. That you have a right to access any personal identity data we hold about you, subject to a search and administration fee. Notwithstanding this, it is our aim to keep the amount of personal identity data that we hold at the bare minimum required to enable us to deliver effective market research, marketing or management services and/or maintain necessary financial accounts. Wherever possible, personal identity data is anonymised or pseudonymised.
9. That any breaches of our data will be reported as soon as possible to the regulator.
10. That we keep no personal identity data whatsoever of persons under the age of 18.
11. That any future updates to this policy will be posted on this website. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at [email protected]
